Head Pro Tour 600

I don't know too much about the Prestige line's history, but I just got a Head Prestige Tour 600, which will arrive in a few days. Does it play similarly to the Prestige Classic 600? What are the main differences? Can anyone help me with some info? Just want to know its playing characteristics compared to the Classic 600, or the Original Prestige Pro. Or, even comparing it to the IG Prestige.

Just learned that the Tour 600 has the suspension grip. Is that inter-changeable? Seems like the suspension grip is something different than the regular grip. Has anyone have problems with the suspension grip? Just sounds a bit fragile.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Yeah, it was supposed to be Prestige, not Pro. I was looking at the Prestige Pro & Prestige Classic 600 at the same time.

The Prestige Tour is the one with the suspension grip. Not sure if other Prestiges had suspension grips, or not. (I think not but someone else can confirm one way or the other.) I would say the Prestige Tour mid plays similar to the other (red) Prestige mids. It is a matter of opinion though.

Suspension grips can be changed but you would have to find another racket to swap out the suspension grip. Head doesn't sell them separately.
I think they hold up pretty well if they are not abused.

Supposedly, Head could not use the Prestige name in the USA for a time because of a Wilson trademark issue. That is why the racket was called the Classic. It is the same frame though (if you are talking about the red ones, not the green or brown Prestiges which are older.)

Thanks for the info. Yeah, it's the red one. I am excited to try it. I loved the IG Prestige Mid and hope that they are similar.
