Head Pro Tour/Prestige 600 vs 630 vs 660

Hello,

With everyone raving about the Head Pro Tour 630, and the Prestige Classic/Tour 600, there seems to be little talk of their sibling larger versions, the Head Pro Tour 690, and the Prestige 660.

Several questions have been on my mind.

First, can anyone tell me what differences they have felt between the smaller and larger heads? And why are the smaller versions preferred?

Also, this may be a silly question, but why the Pro Tour 630/690 and not a 600/660, and the Prestige along with that? Would 30cm2 make that much of a difference?

On a side note, I have a chance to get the Pro Tour 690 but wonder if I should or not. Are they rare of something?

Thanks for any comments of enlightenment.

I will give it a shot. The smaller version were preferred because of the mystic those racquets have. I have never thought about using or tried a 660 or a 690 head size racquet, so I will not compare them. Why a Pro Tour 630 and not a 600 because the Prestige fit that niche nicely, and HEAD tried that with the Premier Tour 600 (a 16x18 racquet) after they stupidly discontinued the Pro Tour 630/280. It was a dog with fleas!! One of the worst racquets I have ever tried and gone after one year. Also I always think of the Pro Tour 630 as a slightly larger, more forgiving because of head size, and a hair more powerful version of the Prestige Classic 600. Yet the Prestige Classic 600 is still my main racquet there is a feel there that I still prefer.
The Pro Tour 690 is rare in the U.S. We had the Pro Tour 280 oversize. Same racquet just with U.S. marketing B.S. It is the Same mold of the Radical 260 oversize. Also I believe that Andre Agassi uses that mold but I don't know what his lay-up is.
I hope I was some help to you?

Thanks vsbabolat for the info. I wish others would throw their 2 cents in the pot and just shoot what they know or feel. Anyway.
