Head racket grip size pallet change - any change in racket weight?

Hello,

Head provides for their rackets handle grip pallets, to change the grip sizes. Has anyone tried this and can tell me if the weight of the racket remains the same, after changing the pallets? (e.g. racket grip size 3, to be changed with Head grip size 4 pallets.)

Thanks,
Cornel

I have noticed when swapping tk82 pallets for tk82S that the 82s pallet is lighter. I can't remember the difference I have it written somewhere iirc a couple of grams or so.

Pallets do differ in weight just like grommets do too.
On top of it, the Pro stock versions (grey) are lighter than the retail black ones.
But we are talking a gram or 3 here and there and in the handle area that is spread over 10 inches. will not greatly affect the balance or SW

If you want for a couple of weeks, I can tell my own personal experience. I have sent my prestige pros to the shop in NY to have the pallets change from grip 4 to grip 3 TK82. I measured my weight before shipping it to them. Will keep you posted when I get them back. I agree with @dr325i . The difference may be a couple of grams here or there.

I have done hundreds if not thousands pallet replacements. And have a bag full of pallets in my closet :)

Thanks! Any idea what these T82S, TK82, TK219 mean? Which one of these should be used for a Head Graphene 360+ Speed MP, and for Head Graphene 360+ Gravity Pro?

S is rounder, without S comes more classic rectangular
Weight of these thin pieces of plastic is overall just few grams, so I guess differences are small if its officially Head branded.
You need to optimise the lenght and saw them according to skeleton of the frame, but you could extend them towards the head in most cases if needed.
