Youteks that I've seen which come from factory pre strung have gotten FXP,
can't buy FXP here so I've gone with either Syngut PPS or Rip Contol.

HEAD RIP Control 17 for spin and control, Prince Premier Attack has a bit more crisp respond and pop.

Let's cover 3 great choices

Try:

Klip legend gut 16g 57# = power comfort long lasting

Head intellitour 17 g 57 # = comfort decent spin

MSV focus hex 18 g 40# (that's right not a typo 40# ) = incredible spin

That'll get you going!

what exactly are you trying to achieve?

stock FXP string is (imho) pretty decent especially as a freebie, i usually
advise owners to play it first & see how they like it before restringing.

Most YT Rads i've seen around here usually restrung with
Pro Hurricane or Big Banger, some like Alu Rough.

LM Rad on my bench atm arrived with RPM Blast but i don't like it much,
i gotta go multi over any poly. Rest of my Rads are flying with
Head Rip Control, Prince SynGut Multi or Wilson Sensation all 17s.
Even plain syngut works fine when its 17G.

I will echo what Tamiya recommended, RIP 17 full bed in upper 50s feels great in the Raidcal MP. I play with Ti and LM Radical with RIP 17 in the past and it feels great with lot of spin and control. If you are not breaking string often, you shouldn't be using poly.

If it is a dark string, it's Head Sonic Pro. Given that it is a polyester string, if it has been sitting around in that racquet for awhile before you bought it, it is probably dead already.

I never understood why Head would put polyester in a pre-strung racquet.

I have seen this comment dozens of times in the forums and I am a newby in the realm of poly use. My prestrung mp radical ( sonic) played fine albeit way too tight. I cut it out due to mid range tension it still seemed pretty fresh.

I just had 3 mp radical frames strung this month with focus hex 110 and another with luxilon 4 g ruff for the recent playtest.

Will I have to cut it all out in the spring???? Multi and gut play fine usually with a seasonal layup in the closet.

I like Sonic Pro, because it is quite soft. The only problem is it looses the tension quite quickly. For me personally it plays radically (pun intended) different on the first (very lively) compared to the the second session. From there on it plays quite similar.

If you are looking for more power and/or have a little slower swing speed i recommend Head Rip Control.

If you looking for a firmer response (but not stiff), control and spin I recommend Isospeed Black Fire.

You might also try the hybrids - Rip control mains/Black fire crosses (more power); Blackfire mains/Rip control crosses (more control).

Have no experience with playing strings so thin, because of durability issues. Only once I played with Tornado 1.17 and that didn't last much more than 1 hour. However if you are not a string breaker, MSV might be a good choice.

I use a 98 frame with 16x19 strings and 60 flex.
Try SolincoTourBite 16 (for hard hitters), 17 for softer hitters, at 42 lbs.
Learn to hit thru the ball and WW your finish.
