Head Radical OS Grommet Q:

I just purchased a used Flexpoint Radical OS, and I would like to change the grommets. Can I use a grommet set for the MG Radical OS?

is it safe to assume you just happen to have aset of the FP grommets?

if not, why would you do that?

I purchased the racquet used, and it needs new grommets. The grommet set that I got at my local store was for the MG Radical OS, and before I went through the hassle of trying to put new grommets into a racquet I was wondering if the set I had would fit.

As it turns out, they do not seem to fit, so I will have to order the correct set from TW.

I figured that. the Flexpoint does look like the headguard is different..now you confirmed.

The microgel grommet will not have the cut out for the flexpoint area.

All other grommets are interchangeable across technologies with the Flexpoints being the exception. In other words, a Liquidmetal grommet will fit a microgel etc, but only Flexpoint grommets will ideally fit FLexpoint racquets.

sweet. guess Chris just saved us a few bucks. my next order will include a couple grommet kits.
