Just got one Radical tour MP 630 Twin.
Comparing it with Pro Tour 280, I didn't see any difference except paintjobs.
Are they really the same?

Hi, think only the layup is different. Hairpin code is TK57a vs. TK57b in the twintube Radical tour, also share grommets.
Actually, boring, because both are awesome jaja. Question of taste. The Twintube is fantastic in feel as well!

Completely different racquets. The Radical Tour TwinTube is just that a layup of an inner tube of carbon fiber and then an outer tube of polyamide. The early TwinTube racquets aren’t painted. They have the graphics printed on the outer tube of polyamide and it’s wrapped around the inner tube of carbon fiber. Then put in the mold and baked. The Pro Tour 280 is a layup of graphite and Twaron fibre

i tried the originals side by side once...
the radical felt stiffer and hit a flatter ball than the 280 to me..
also maybe the radical was maybe lighter and more headheavy, not sure...

My twin tubes had TK57A-5 printed on the pin... so go figure. They also have a higher SW than the PT630s (not sure about PT280s... but probably the same). Both feel soft to me but in different ways. I need to play them with the same string and at the same tension and see what's what. Both great racquets though.

The Radical Tour MP is so soft but it can handle strong hits. Nice racquet it is.
And the serve is also sweet.

These 2 particular raquets are the raquets that i have played with the most actually. The layup and things like that may differ but in reality they do feel quite similar, both very soft and buttery, i do slightly prefer the feel of the pt though but the zebra as its called also has a very nice feel. The major difference for me has been the weight, the twintubes are heavier which i prefer. So i always had to tinker with my pts whereas the the twintubes that i have had with caprommets always felt more in my range right of the bat.....both super great soft super control raquets.....
