Head radical tour twin tube MP

Hello there,
today I tried an old Head radical tour twin tube MP and I find this racquet so great. My question is, do someone know the specs of this radical? What would be a more recent racquet who play the most like this radical?
A prestige? A radical with a lot of extra weight?

Thanks a lot for your help!

IMO the closest Head racquet in their current line to the old twin tube radical would be the flexpoint prestige. The current radicals are a good bit lighter than the first few radical models.

the TT Radical plays like a less demanding PC600, to me, a bit easier and more powerful due to the larger headsize.

maybe few people would agree with me, but the TT Radical could also be linked to the Wilson N Blade: flex rating and headsize are the same, with the TT radical being much more stable as it weighs over 20 grams more.

Probably my favorite stick ever....had three in my bag (2 rad tt tours and 1 1998 radical tt tour, same except for graphics) at one time. Don't know why I switched to ti radical at the time, got caught up in marketing I guess....tho the ti rad mp is also a good stick, a little more flexy IMHO.

In my current bag(see below) I would say my i prestige is the closest to the tour twintube rad mp. I plan to do a side by side hit soon, one of my tennis friends still has one of my mp twintubes in their bag.

As for the current line, I doubt anything is close. If you are patient you can hunt twin tube radicals down on the big site, but they are getting scarce....and you will be bidding against me:-)

You can find ti radical mps on the big site new still, might grab one of those too for a drive.....also much better than current rads IMHO. I think you will like that one too.

hrstrat57,
the Ti Radical was the first Radical series I've played with. I liked it but felt it was a bit too stiff and unstable for me.
helped a lot on serves and volleys due maybe to its manoeuvrability.
Flexibility wise, I disagree with you, as the TT feels way more flexy than the Ti. Radical (they’re also listed at 58 and 64 respectively).

Sadly my 98 twin tube mid does not come out of the bag ever. It is like a painfull breakup with someone you always see. I am thinking of getting rid of it. 4 5/8 needs a new grip and probably strings due to the fact it has not been regriped or strung in some time. The frame is in very good condition 9.5 out of 10 a small scrape on the head guard.
