Just picked these up today!

Can anyone confirm if they may be Agassi's personal sticks?

Not an expert, but as an Agassi fan it should have the following:

1) Tourna grip w/ black electrical tape: check.
2) Painted on liquidmetal ridges or flex point holes: check.
3) Rubber band: check.
4) Silver full bed Lux poly if post 2002 Rome when he switched from Kevlar/Gut: check.

Other things you need to check out for:
- Lead under the bumper
- Leather grip
- SW should be around 350, balance around 5 pts HL, 365g strung weight.
- Pretty sure it should say A.A. in the throat under the sticker that has string tension and date.
- Pro stock code visible?

Thank you all! I will pull one of the stickers off to check for the initials.

I am planning on keeping the flexpoint as is. It seems to have only been hit with for about an hour or so in very good condition and I will take out the LM paint job and hit with it today.

Nice, I see you added the pic with the “A.A.” in the throat. You either have the real deal or an absurdly accurate copy. One thing I forgot to add to my list above is that Andre had Roman Prokes in NYC custom build his handles to match his Prince POG OS handles from the 80s. That grip shape shouldn’t be as rectangular as a TK82 pallet.

I am by no means an expert, but from all the pics I’ve ever seen of personal Agassi sticks, these look like the real deal. Where did you get them? Does the Liquid Metal pj say HEAD on both sides of the throat? I believe Agassi’s did, as opposed to saying Liquidmetal Radical on one side. And HEAD was outlined in a darker color, whereas the retail version was just all silver, no outlining. I think you got the genuine article. Or, as said above, a fantastic copy.

Yes the grip shape is different from the standard head grips and there also is lead under the headguard. I purchased the pair from a couple that lives near me who bought a bunch of rackets from an auction. They had a few of the radicals and a pair of liquidmetal instincts that all had the same set up and were in racket bags from Roman Prokes.

Going to need full specs on these ASAP 8-B

The Instincts could have been Agassi’s, also. He used it during one clay court season (2003 or 2004, maybe?).

I remember this video. The AA racquet was from 1999 though.

Perhaps they were made FOR Agassi, but there's no proof to say he actually USED those frames. Perhaps Head made a stock of them for him but as paintjobs/designs change, these were surplus and never made it as far as the great man himself. Awesome find though. Well done.
