Semi-Pro
So I forgot my shoes the other day and the shop where I play have just received a lot of brand new Head gear. So I had no other choice than to grab a pair of Head sprint pro 4.0, poor me..
I usually play with Adidas shoes. Have played the last years with Solecourt boost and Solematch bounce. And my current shoes are the Solematch control 1 (clay) and 2 (hard court). My favourite of these were the Solematch bounce that was a bit more snug around the forefoot, low to the ground feel and with a pretty straight forward design.
The Head sprint pro 4.0 reminds me about the Solematch bounce in fit. The sprint feels like a faster shoe.
It was comfortable, no heel slippage and fit really nice around the forefoot.
Like the Solematch bounce the sprint pro also has a pretty straight forward and simple design. And I really like that.
It could have a bit more support for my high arch, but it was nothing that bothered me.
I could of course put a personal insole in there but on nice thing about the shoe is the ventilation under the foot. Smart! And if I put another sole in there is will loose that feature. But no big deal, because I’m not sure how much it actually ventilated my feet.
All in all, a great shoe so far. Will have to play more to give a more detailed review. Oh, and no break in was needed.
