Got 2 pairs of these shoes in my pro package. Out of the box much lighter than their previous offerings. VERY comfortable. A little more room in the toe than I like, but I think this is a great offering from Head.

My one concern will be how the tread wears. It seems pretty thin so will be interested to see how it holds up

Nice to see a review here -- I was curious after watching the tw review. My concern with this shoe is the wider toe box. Have you experienced any toe jamming? How is the width through the rest of the foot?

I would say it is in line with previous head offerings. Very comfortable. I find that the toe isnt so much an issue of being wide, but might be a bit too tall

when i wore 1 pair of socks, i noticed sometimes when i would plant hard my big toe would catch somewhere between the rubber on the toe and the top of the shoe.

however, when i wore 2 pairs of socks (which i do almost all the time and highly recommend) I didn't notice this issue at all

At last some buzz about this shoe. Did you have the Speed pro III previously?? And if I´m eager to know whether you use the same size?? Speed Pros have been quite large in size i think. Thanks!! :)

Hmm. Might be too roomy for me. Thanks for the feedback.

yea i normally wear a 14 and went with the 14 they fit fine. unlike the babolat shoe where the propulse 3 size 14 fit great and the new ones are too big. same with the new barricades. ive been wearing the vapors for awhile but have been trying this shoe out for a few days not. Really surprised with how much i like them after a break in

another one of my pros wears size 12.5 in some nike shoes, and got the size 12 and absolutely LOVES the shoe. He is a Brazilian clay courter as well.

Honestly surprised there isn't more talk about the shoe. It looks really good in person. Def. Better than. In pictures

more and more impressed with this shoe

ive now had a chance to wear it for a lot of tennis

after a break in period (shoe was a bit stiff out of the box) it is one of the more comfortable shoes I have worn in a long time

stability is great, they feel solid, and they are light (my main gripe with head shoes in the past was the weight)

i have the red/white/blue ones and they look really good in person, and feel extremely fast when on the feet. Not as light as say a vapor from Nike, but appears considerably more durable

i thought the toe may be a bit too big for me, but not the case after adjusting. It was just a bit different than the Nike I was wearing before.

I am very surprised there isnt more chatter about this shoes. I recommend giving them a try if they are on your short list of maybes.

Shoe seemed rigid when I tried it on once, so good to hear it's much better after a break in. Just heard great things about the shoe from an esteemed TWer, may have to give it another shot down the road.

Cool, will definitely try them again down the road. Hearing too many good things.

Do they 'stretch out' when they break in, sizing wise, or stay relatively the same, just softer?

i picked up a pair in the red white and blue as well and had the pleasure of playing with them right out of the box. They felt great even with no break in. looking forward to using them more! Must try for ANYONE looking for a light shoe with stability. comparable to the vapor 9/9.5 but a bit more stable. I will even go as far as saying it looks better than the vapor especially in person. Great stuff from Head. Nailed this one on the head...no pun intended:)

One of the pros at our club got them in red white and blue. They're hideous, and generally I could care less about that kind of stuff. But really they look awful haha. The black ones with yellow look good though.

They are very comfortable and have good tread for hard courts in my limited experience though.

I wonder which pair to buy, the all court one or the clay version. Is there a big difference between the 2?

FINALLY got my warranty replacement head shoes and got the new Sprint Pro, glad to hear they seem pretty good, I'll be playin again (3 month injury) in a few weeks so look forward to giving them a go.

nice let us know how you like them!

Would be a good decision on your part

Ended up ordering them that afternoon and they were on my doorstep in under 24 hours. Have played in them 3 times and really like them. Very lightweight and comfortable. Very stiff right out of the box but after 1 match they were fine.

Interesting...I just got a pair of these. In the box is an elaborate brochure with Gasquet pimpin these shoes
He always wears the same old Asics.
Never has Gasquet worn these, except for in the pictures in this brochure.
