Head Synthetic Leather vs Leather Tour

Can anyone tell me the differences between the Head Leather Tour and Head Synthetic Leather Grip concerning weight, thickness and feel?

- anyone has compared these two?
Specifically, I'd like to know if replacing the Head Synthetic Leather grip on the IG Radical Pro with the Head Leather Tour will make it noticeably more head light.
Any info would be appreciated.

The synthetic leather does feel like leather. Its firm and thin(ish).

But it is lighter and I would about the same weight as a standard synthetic grip. Its certainly the grip to go for if you want the same weight of synthetic but the feel of leather.

Thanks, Robbo! This is really helpful to me - I just ordered two IG Radical Pros and I am thinking about putting on real instead of synthetic leather. The weight difference would make it more head light, while the feel would not be changed. I'll try out the synth grip first and then compare the two variants.

My pleasure Alex. I found that leather adds about 8 to 10g in static weight, slightly more headlight, but the main thing was how much more power it adds.

^^ How does a leather grip add power????
Its magic leather, but shhhh, don't tell anyone.

I think its that little bit of extra weight and added firmness on the grip that just makes hitting the ball with more a bit easier. It felt like that to me anyway. I have one of my lighter rackets gripped with leather and it has made a difference. I couldnt really use that lighter one with synthetic because it just felt too light in my hand.
