Head tennis shoes?

I find that Head shoes tend to be pretty well cushioned, so if you're looking for comfort they're a good alternative. Also the Revolt Pro 3.0 is extremely well ventilated and are great for summer play on hard courts!

They are very good. You can wear them to play straight out of the box, have the ight mix of comfort and stability and hold up to wear and tear as well as any other shoes I've had.

I'm wearing the Revolt Pro 3.0 shoes at the moment and I have to say that they are really good shoes. Just get them at least a half size higher than you normally would and you'll be absolutely fine.

I've had very positive experiences with both the latest Revolt (3.0) and Sprint Pro Line. Despite appealing to a different customer base, I've found both to be very well cushioned, comfortable, durable and well made. They are definitely worth trying out, especially when you can find them at discounted prices - very good vfm.

Awesome thanks!! That is great to know that they are decent. I was looking at the revolt 3.5. I think I was skeptical because I once bought a Head tennis bag and it was a total piece of garbage...

I'd say it's foot shape dependent. I had a pair of Head last year and some ASICS. The Head were slightly narrower and after a few hours would have squeezed my little toe. I don't get the same thing with either ASICS or Kswiss (which might actually be a little too far the other way).

Head Sprint SF was the best shoe I have ever used -- cushioning, ventilation, light, stable, great grip, comfort, little higher support
I have tried the latest Sprint Pro 3.0 SF and is quite different. Still stable and breathable, but less supportive and less cushioned.
I stocked up with about 5-6 pairs of the original SF

Prior to Head Sprint SF I have used all versions of Barricades, SCB, Asics FF2, Asics (other models), Older models of Diadora, Nike Cage 2...and none of them come close to the Sprint SF.

So it looks like there is a Revolt Team and a Revolt Pro... wondering if the Team version isn't that good...
The Team is a take down version of the Revolt pro. Unless budget is an issue, I'd recommend trying out the Revolt pro. FWIW, my club coach has the new 3.5 and swears by them. For reference, he has been wearing Asics (Resolution and Solution Speed) for the past 5 years and finds these far better for him.

Cool, thanks. It doesn't seem that the Revolt Pro 3.5 is available in the US, and the 3.0 isn't available in many sizes. The Revolt Team 3.5 does seem to be available however...

I wear the Revolt Pro 3.0's about 6-8 hours a day for coaching and they've held up quite well and are pretty darn comfortable. My only gripes are that my club ordered a half size too big so I have to wear 2 pairs of socks, and they were only able to get the all white version. They're comfortable, not too clunky (for a heavier shoe), well ventilated, and quite durable. They also didn't really require any break-in.

I ordered my 3.0 a whole size larger due to my experience with the 2.5. maybe it's just me, but the whole size larger fit me better.

Last year I invested in some shoe stretchers and they've been a great investment. I always take size 10 but it seems that in recent years 10s have gotten smaller. I had bought 2 pair of Asics both size 10 and they were a bit too small (tried the 10.5s too and those were too large). Anyway, got the shoe stretchers and they worked really well, made it so the 10s fit perfect...

Wow that's interesting. I'll have to take a look and maybe get one

In your experience how long does it take for the shoes to stretch out?

Revolt Pro 3.5 does seem to be available in the USA from a (very) large etailer...

Generally it takes about 24 hours. They are quite powerful and you do have to be careful as it is possible you could damage the shoe (although with athletic shoes that is less likely). I had them in there for about 24hrs., then wore the shoes on the court and they felt a lot better but not quite enough, so I went back and did it again for another 24-36 hrs and after that they fit perfect.

The Head Nitro is/was my favorite shoe of all time.

TW review, solid 4's across the board:

I bought 7 pairs when they were on sale but now I'm on my last one. Hoping the 2021 line up has something close to this good.

the powder blue head shoes i had were the best tenny shoes ive worn. caint even remember what model it was. maybe its been hashed over here, but why doesnt t-dub really carry head shoes anymore?
