Head TGT 345.2 Prestige MP

I saw that Tennisnerd had a video of this a while back and it really intrigued me, as it seems like it’s a pro stock version of the Graphene 360+ Prestige MP, with the big difference being the 16x19 pattern. The TN version is extended .25”, but I’m curious if anybody has one of these or played with one of them (or any of the Prestige pro stocks in a similar spec) to see what they think.

To me, it seems like an even more modernized Prestige from the heralded G360+ line that marries the standard control and feel of the Prestiges, in a much more open string pattern to better accommodate the spin game.

Curious to see everyone’s thoughts! If any people have even tried this racquet or similar ones here.

A bit late response for you, but I have a standard length TGT345.2. I love the frame, and would play this as my main if it were available retail. At 315g or less.

you get that same butter feel as the 360+ MP with some additional spin and larger sweet spot. I was honestly hoping the 95 would be replaced with this one as the 16x19 option as it would probably sell well.

This is a really interesting frame, I borrowed one and it has a lot of the advantages of the retail MP but a higher launch angle and more free power. Still feels quick through the air and flexible. I wish they would release this one retail.

I have a 310g version coming my way soon, and I’ll have to let you guys know once I’ve had time with it. My main stick is the current Auxetic Prestige Pro.

I have 3 345.1 300g static 297 swingweight. They are very very good! Might let mine go though. I am too much in love with my matched blades.

I have one 345.2 in Graphene 360+ paint job and a couple in Auxetic Prestige pain job.
Specs unstrung are: 310g and 295SW.

I do love their feel. With silicone inside they feel better from Auxetic Prestige Pro. However I do still prefer 293.2 and 293.1

345 - softer and more comfortable, bigger sweetspot, a bit more power
293 – better control, more stable, great ball pocketing

I have 2 matched TGT345.2 rackets at 310g with 302 SW unstrung.
I completely agree with all of you, feels just as smooth as stock prestige MP 360+ but definitely has a bit more power potential and more importantly a lot more spin potential (at least in my experience). I was looking for something that felt the same as the stock version (my previous racket of choice) but that would make hitting hard on the forehand feel a bit safer and that would give me more kick on the 2nd serve. 100% this racket achieves that for my game.
Something to note was that for some reason it was making my elbow ache a bit, but a little bit of weight at 3 and 9 has improved the stability without affecting the specs too much and completely got rid of the aching elbow.

hi there
I’m intrigued by the TGT345.
Am looking for something with great feel but a bit more powerful than the prestiges that I grew up with. Grew up playing LM prestige MP, played an I.prestige for a while - currently using Angell tc95 18x20, Yonex HD and head prestige MPL. Have you played with these frames and can comment on how it compares with the TGT345.2? Thanks

The MPL will be more powerful than any 345. The 345 is a 98 sq in, 20mm beam soft layup. MPL is a 99, 21.5mm, crisp layup, quite a bit more powerful.
If you are looking for more power, you are not looking for a prestige.
There were two things that fell short with the MPL: control and hoop stability. My 95 sq in frame (PT57A) fixed this...

haha you’ve ditched the MPLs?
Nah I just want a bit more power compared to the regular prestige 18x20 but not by much. Don’t want it to be a speed for example.
Yup I find the MPL lacking a bit of control and stability as well...

I still have another version of it (PT334.1) as my backup and when I am tired. That is an excellent stick however, still lacks the control that the 95 has

Man this frame is great, after adding some lead (2g each) to 3 and 9, with additional weight at 12 under the bumper. Swingweight has been increased to about 330. Strung with razor code at 40/42. It practically swings itself if I can say so, and I’m getting good depth on all balls with good spin. I used to play with the MP-L and while that was great this tgt345.2 is even better because you don’t feel any harshness at all with the way the racquet flexes. MP-L offered good power and all that but it was a bit stiff and harsh on the arm.

The string pattern was a bit wider anyway on the 18/20 now it's on a 98" head. I would like to have tried a 16/19 pattern in the old head ig retail stick. This new mould for me is too underpowered regarding the layup, the feel while OK has also declined since the older head frames. Most are comparing it to the poor offerings of the last 10 years since the IG, I know its easier to use but not as satisfying for me to play with. Are pros/performance players actually using this new layup and head size. Most I've seen now are all using yonex blades or babolats that aren't sponsored yet. Harry Wendelken had what I think was a prestige pro who is sponsored by Head.

Wpuld the current prestige mpL be a comparable racket to the tgt 245.2?
With 99 sq inches and 16x19 string pattern?

The 2023 prestige MP L has gone down to is at 61 stiffness from 65 for the 2021 prestoge mp L model.
