Head & Wilson Racket Reviews

I've recently tried out the Volkl Organix 8 and the Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 100.. The Pro Staff was not powerful enough while the Volkl wasn't agile enough at the net so I am searching for a racket between the two. I've found a few and was hoping to hear some feedback from people who have had experience using these... If you can comment on the ability to create deep shots and the vibration of the rackets, that'd be great!

Of all I would choose e pro open. It's one of e better skeleton sticks out there that u could mod up very well.

Even stock it has one of e best lateral stability.

I can't really say cus some still feel its stiff while others like me dun have any problems. The key is to string lower. Polys below 53 n multis below 60. Cus it's a very light stick to me, I would put quite a bit if lead ard the head to increase plow through n make it more comfy.

The recent batch of Wilson's n pure drives r a lot more comfy then b4.

Lastly if u are worried bout arm aches I strongly suggest u forget bout light stiff sticks. Look for ra63 n below sticks like e prince exo 100, pacific etc

The new BLX 95s are amazing.. I played with the black ones and were pretty inconsistent. Hit with the new white/red ones and was very very impressed!!

How is the pro open with vibration for people with somewhat sensitive arms?

To me the racquet is very arm friendly. Feels solid yet not too stiff. No vibrations regardless of where you hit the stringbed. And I'm using alu power.

I am not sold yet on the blx 95. Ive been trying it out but they are not kidding when they say it is unforgiving. You need to hit flush and have good technique. OTOH, its great at the net. Very agile and stable. I think it works best for an old school game with flatter shorter strokes and net play but you would be at a disadvantage in long baseline play. I played a match with this stick and found myself out of position and the other guy was putting away alot of short balls which normally does not happen when I play with my aerostorm since it is much easier to hit with a vertical swing and you end up generating alot of topspin. BLX does have very good control but I can see that you have to play aggressively because it doesnt generate a very heavy ball.
