HEAD YouTek IG Prestige Pro

Hello all,

I am planning of getting a HEAD YouTek IG Prestige Pro because is now on sales and I belive is a good racquet.

I am now playing a HEAD 660 Universe (90´s) and I´d like to know opinions from somebody who plays this newish raquect.

I now the specs 325gr (unstrung), 98ins, 16x19 pattern.

Well, someone to give me a hand to help make decission and when possible to advise for string to fit.

@dpca, the prestige pro is a great stick. You have to give us more. What kind of game do you have. Are your strokes flat or do you use topspin, etc.. Me, I use full bed syn gut, but it's not for everyone. Your on the right track because the strings are just as important as your stick, we just have to have more info..

I play topspin one hand backhand and always away from net. I cannot play flat as I am now a bit out from form.

I was thinking on something that can give me some extra power and not too costy. Maybe a Tecnifiber XR1, I don´t know.

Is the thr racquet not much premisive?

I just demo'd it not too long ago and really liked it. It's an all-around players frame that has good pop and feel without being too wild. Of course, it's not going to give you the power you get from a Babolat but I wouldn't say it's underpowered.

It swings a tad lighter than the specs but still feels really solid. It also plays really well with a poly at low tension.

It's impressive, but I would say you should try out the Babolat Pure Control Tour. It's a little lighter, but gives you more spin and you feel more connected to your shots (even though it'll take a little more $).

Just demo them side-by-side, and see which one fits your groove.

Dear all, finally I got a HEAD YouTek IG Prestige Pro strung with Tecnifibre NRG2 @ 24kg. I cannot wait for tomorrow to get it from the ProShop and play a Tournament game by nigth.
