Yes, the logo has always been the ski tip and I said nothing that contradicts this fact. All I'm saying is that according to Head's Director of Marketing and Pro/Specialty Sales in the USA they are upgrading the logo to improve brand visibility. The old logo was too thin and was at times hard to see on players' rackets.
I'm just trying to clarify the reason for their change so that people like you can be well informed.
To the casual tennis person, I would venture that it would. But, to you of course it looks nothing like the Puma logo. But again, to that casual tennis person, they are going to see two cat-like logos, tilted one way or the other.
