Heavy and headlight vs lighter and more even balance..suits who?

For comparison: Head Prestige MP vs Head Radical MP

Prestige has a heavy static weight, more headlight balance, and lower swing weight.

Radical has a lower static weight, but a more even balance point and thus, a higher swing weight.

Which racquets suit which type of players?

I always thought of the Prestiges (and other like frames) as catering to a more advanced player than the Radicals (and like). However, it seems the Radical would be more difficult to swing for a match and would produce a heavier ball.

Please elaborate.

Heavy and hl if you like to shorten points and volley. Lighter and even bal. If you like to win from the baseline and playlomger rallies.

That was a nice post you linked me to and it explains why my sticks are weighted up over 340 and I swing late and early with a friends Aero Pro--controlllled swing weight is what it's all 'bout.

His is the only theory I know of that can predict the effects of various weight distributions on the timing of your swing. With a little (or maybe more than a little) leadtape wrapped at the top of the handle, you could probably get that Aero Pro to swing very like your heavier sticks.

What you asked about in your 1st post was the difference between two racquets that differ, primarily, by an ounce in the handle. With this MgR/I theory it should be possible to get two racquets that weigh an ounce apart to swing with the same timing. For me, it's allowed me to play around with low and high swingweights and static weights while maintaining a familiar and comfortable swing dynamic.

My latest predicament is not involved with playing around with diff swingweights and static weights, but matching different sticks with varying RA Flexes to the current static weight, swing weight, and balance I am loving right now in my Dunlop AG 300; they have 3-4 grams of silicone in each tube in the hairpin. This wouldn't seem like a problem except that I enjoy the feel from the silicone so I need to find flexy frames that are light enough to customize, and most flexy frames come heavy with no room for 6-8 grams of silicone and a leather grip. Any ideas?

Wow. I get about a million results with that search. Any pointers toward finding the right thread? Thx.
