Firstly, a massive hello and thankyou to everyone here at TW whos old and recent threads have helped me find my current setup from the abyss of possible choices :D

Now for my cry of help. To all you TW Brits that use the Pete Sampras Vibration Dampener by Unique, can you please fill me in on how to obtain them without shipping from abroad. I would sorely like to try these before comparing them to the much more readily available and cheaper cable grommets.
 
Just go with the cable grommets, I think they work much better than the sampras O. If you're dead set on getting one, i'd put a WTB post up in the for sale/trade section. If you can't find one on a UK retailer, that's your best bet, IMO.

diredesire, thanks for the vote of confidence for grommets, that certainly is reassuring. The WTB post is a great suggestion, but I'm not sure where I should post it: For Sale or Trade / Wanted ?

Wow JonnyF nailed it. My mistake was searching for "Pete Sampras" instead of just Sampras.

saw an ad of sampras O stating that: "used and endorsed by pete sampras, world champion. absorbs racquet vibration. hole in the middle of dampener minimizes wind resistance as you swing"
huh?!
