HELP for Wilson ProStaff 85

Hi guys, Im a cliche PS 85 user on a college D3 tennis team. I know that our team is sponsored by wilson and most of my firends get that cheap players pack (3 rackets, back, strings, grips for 350 dollars). I'd like to get this as well, but the wilson rep told my coach that they no longer make the ps 85 (lies) but they can give me the K-tour 90. Tahts not good enough for me. I know the K-tour is a great racket but I'm playing my best tennis with the PS 85 and I can't afford to switch rackets again. Do you guys know of any way to get the PS 85's if you have a D-3 sponsorship? It feels like a real shame if i just have to go out and buy ps 85s from TW when im on a team!

You seriously aren't considering the switch? I for the first time hit some groundies for about 15 mins with the K90 and i was extremely impressed with it. I might ditch the 6.0 85 and go k90 this summer... I still need a thorough session with it first before i decide.

no ive been switching around way too long and i can't imagine a stick having more of what i need than the ps85. I need a small control racket that lets me maximize my serve and volley game. i used the n90 before, and i know the k90 is supposed to be way better than n90, but i still dont think i need to worry about more rackets. I'm playing my best tennis so far with the ps85.

Yeah I agree with MTXR and federer_nadal... u must try this stick.... I have both... and I must say I play better with K90 than the ps85 (I'm a 5.0+)

Im looking forward to demoing it when i can, i live in australia so its hard to get demos straight away but i got a great mate who lets me demo from his shop interstate. It sounds as though it is a n61 with everything i hated fixed, plus i have improved and also lead it up to sw2 and should be good hopefully.

Hey fed_nadal...if you are in QLD...there is a demo racquet in the UQ tennis club

And as far as I gather, the old PS 85 is in fact discontinued. It's still available until stocks run out.

Make the switch, I did. I instanlty approved, and I also thought I played my best tennis with the PS85. I did not.

i dont know if this is legal... but you can always get the k90 that they are offering you.. sell them and buy a couple of 6.0's

That's what I was going to suggest. But first, I'd try hitting with the k90s for a few hours just to see if you click.

aw man. i really dont think i could live with another racket change. I spent so much time tinkering with different rackets and i really find every thing perfect with my current set up. i just dont want to spend more time getting another racket, customizing it to my specifications, and tehn getting used to it, especially mid season.
