I found a couple of shoes now that I'm interested in and all of them have their pros and cons such as one being better in comfort but another in durability. I'm not looking for specific features, but I'm wondering what shoe(s) you thought were best overall.

I like my A3 Accelerator's a lot, that being said, they do wear out a lot faster than the barricade IV.

adidas clima cool feather II. very light, very breathable, very durable, very cool in black. the only thing is, they have been replaced by the feather III's and so its hard to find the black version of the feather II's. so sad

You need to try them on for yourself. For me it's Barricade IV's. Everyone's foot is different. I hate to hear someone say I bought them because they were cheap. IMO the one area in which you don't want to be cheap is footwear. Get the one's that fit you the best. Painful feet isn't the way to go.

I really like the max air in the heel (breathe cage and breathe free) - because sometimes when I land from serving or overhead smash I land a little off center and the hard court pounds my heel and it can hurt!

zoom air is really nice for low profile cushioning, but I'm glad I chose the breathe cages over the vapors.

Both the nike shoes in the poll just do not last, i had both pairs and they only lasted about 3/4 weeks each. Now back to barricades and they are simply great!!!

I only have experience with the Barricade IV and the Breathe Cages out of the shoes that you listed, and I prefer the Breathe Cages--in fact my last 3 pairs of shoes have all been the Breathe Cages and before that I wore the BFII's. For my feet Nike's fit best and are much more comfortable than the Adidas. I play between 20-35 hours a week and the Breathe Cages last me about 2 months at which point I send them in for warranty replacement. Unlike all of the folks that send them in once they have worn through the outsole, I always pop the air pocket in the right heel, so there is still traction when I send them in. Although the Barricade's are extremely durable, they aren't very comfortable and I wouldn't suggest wearing shoes for more than 3 months anyway, since by that time the padding will be compressed.

Yep. Others on this forum have even said that the air pocket is under warranty for a full year. I have the same exact wear pattern on every pair:

-popped right air pocket
-hole through the left toe
-hole on the left side of the left shoe
-sole worn down completely on the inside toe areas

I have exchanged 3 pairs now without any problems.

so the replacement is only good for one right? once you get a new free pair from them, you don't have any warrantee on that one right?

Yes, only the purchased pair are under warranty. But I returned my last pair to Niketown and they told me that as long as I have my receipt I can continue to return my shoes. We'll see if that actually ends up being the case.
