I am going to buy a tennis sensor soon for my racket, but I can't decide between the Sony tennis sensor and the Qlipp. Qlipp battery life is much better but the Sony detects volleys separately. Sony also affects swingweight less because it attaches to the butt of the racket.

What do you think?

Also would a radar gun (pocket radar ball coach) still be worth it if I got a sensor?

Sensor wouldn't be able to accurately detect serve speed so if you got the money, I would definitely get it. I think if you just want something to play around with, go for it but I am waiting till they get more mature and accurate before I jump on one of these products.
