right now im about to be shipped a racquet, but the supplier told me that the racuqet i want is a demo racuet, but it's new and all it says is demo in font on the side of the racquet. should i wait for a new racquet without the demo printed on the side or just take it? the supplier also says the plastic is still onthe grip

is there a difference between a new demo racquet and a new racquet?

I would think there'd be no difference other than the word "demo" on it. But, what's your question? Are you asking if you should still buy the racquet even though it says demo on it or something?

The only difference is that the demo has the "Demo" label while the other does not; spec-wise they are the same. It wouldn't be sensible to have demoes different from the actuals.

It depends ... if you don't like to have the word demo on the racket, then wait. Are you paying less for the demo? If so, go ahead. Otherwise it's up to you. Don't be afraid of people calling you a cheapo -- it's a sensible way to spend your hard-earned cash.

I've also bought demo rackets before. No problem with play.
