Help me with a stick switch!

I currently have a Babolat Aero Blast 112 sq in head and I'm really bothered by the head-heaviness of it. I've been playing with this stick for a little for than a year and still haven't gotten used to it.

So, I'm looking for a dependable head-light racket (I've played my friend's Pure Storm and loved having the weight on the grip). My playing style would be an aggressive base liner with heavy hits and a lot of spin. I have a flat first serve and a topspin second.

Any ideas, anyone?

Hi again

Then go with the pure storm tour. The weight is a lot higher but it isnt that big of a transistion. Head light player sticks seem to play lighter than it says. Plus the weight makes the impact more comforthble. :)

good luck on your seach

Best thing is to demo. Very few have played with your racket here. Based on your game, here's a few rackets that might suit your game. They're on the lighter side of the player's spectrum, but they're solid.

Babolat Aeropro Drive cortex
Prince Triple Thread Warrior
Yonex RDS003
Microgel Radical MP with some lead.

Since I was recommended an Aeropro and a Purestorm, I'm currently looking at the Aerostorm. A lot of people says it's a good blend of the two so should i try that out?

(btw, it's a big hassle for me to go demo sticks because there's no good proshops around my area and the closest one is a good half hour away.)

i had a aerostorm, and settled on the pure storm TOUR.
both great sticks. the aerostorm gave me lost of unexpected topspin capability
and it was great, except when I got lazy and did not generate that top, the balls flew from the extra power and flex. so i went to the pure storm tour
a heavier racquet and that was great... until my brother took my racquets and
wont give it back.

i would suggest before you lay out money for a new racquet, try
adding weight to the grip (open butt cap and add weights inside with cotton)
or add lead tape to the inside of the grip to increase mass, and head lightness.

I thought the Aerostorm was a little too heavy for me...the 320g version. My friend had one and I hit with it a bit...exactly like what Jason said, if lazy..the ball flies and doesn't generate enough spin like the APDC.

u could try the lighter aerostorm.a buddy of mine plays with usually pretty heavy sticks but ended up loving the lighter aerostorm better then the normal aerostorm.it shouldnt be to heavy and you can always add weight

I thought about it, but...I guess I'll stick with the APDC, afterall I play better with that stick and my style.
