Help my serve (video included)

About a year ago I started video taping my serve. I posted it here and got some good feedback. Here's the video from June 2007.

I think I was picking up some bad habits (waiter's wrist) and I was struggling to find a comfortable trophy position. My windup was really out of rhythm and I lost total control. So within the past week I revamped my serve to the abbreviated windup which forces me to start in the trophy position. It is starting to feel more and more comfortable and controllable. It feels more consistent on my 2nd serves too.

I've only been working on it for a week so it's a bit rusty but I'm hoping for some feedback. The first couple serves hit the fence on 1 bounce which is kind of a good barometer for me. The last couple were a bit "spinny". Here is me serving July 2008.

Here are a few things that I think I need to work on but I'm hoping for some critical advice. I just noticed that I foot fault on every serve...gotta work on that. I've watched enough serves to see that I could use a deeper knee bend. I need to get my weight moving up and into the court as I attack the ball. When my weight moves forward I get good pace/depth. Anything else? Fire away!

Yuk! the more I watch the video the more I realize how unathletic my serve appears. No shoulder turn, poor racquet speed, off-balance, etc.

To me it looks like you are selling yourself short. You would develop more power by bringing the racquet back low and getting into the back scratch position. You also look very, very tight. Your serve is really reminiscent of what I used to do. How does your shoulder feel? This type of serve was hard on my shoulder. I did it to be compact and have less room for error.

while i cannot comment too much, i also have serve issues, i did see one thing that could possibly help you,
the toss, your toss seemed to be all over the place, 2 in the ideal place, but 1 when to your left, almost behind you and another whent too far infront/right, when the toss is wild, it makes me want to chase it and reduse my pase
what ive been doing to reduse the miss-toss, is straightening my arm while i hold the ball and raise/release at that distance, while it is not 100%, it does give me a little better toss control, but also it gives me a better serve pose prior to the lunge, ive been working on getting a straight arm and thus get enough air to get under the ball,
