Hi ! All,

I am form 45 year old & I started playing tennis since last 2 year using babolat aero pro drive gt 2013 with RPM Blast 16 (tried different tension 55 to 60) with Index knucle between 4 & 5. I am getting very good power on my serve as well as ground stroke but still not getting proper net clearence with control can u suggest me what modification ( using lead tape or changing GUT with different make & tension) so I can get more control along with power.

Thanks.

Get a lower powered string. I'd try Kirschbaum Black Shark, as it is very low powered and offers tons of spin.

Be warned though, your previous setup was NOT arm friendly and neither is this. The vast majority of "switching racquet threads" around here seem to be from people playing APDs and PDs who have gotten tennis elbow due to the inherent stiffness of the frames and are therefore looking for more arm friendly options.

I agree with this. I used to play with the APDGT. I always thought the racquet had great directional control but the power was so high I didn't have enough confidence to take full swings. A less powerful racquet with more flex was my solution.
