Help needed for syn gut/poly hybrid

Hello, I'm a 5.0ish and I use an APD with full poly at around 58 pounds. I hit with quite a bit of spin. I'd like to try a syn gut mains/poly crosses hybrid to give my arm a rest and get more feel. I still want a spinny setup though. Any suggestion that will be somewhat durable? How about tension and gauge in mains and crosses? BTW I tried a poly mains/syn gut crosses setup and didn't like it much.

gut mains would be the better option for this, but this would be burning your wallet. synthetic mains and poly crosses wont provided the spin and bite as a full poly would. putting 58ibs on a tweener racket will kill my arm. i would sugguest 56/54 for synthetic/poly hyrbrid.

Does gut produce more spin than syn gut?

Your objectives:

1. More arm friendly, YET...
2. Same amount of spin
3. Easy to transit to the new set-up

A cheap and easy solution:

1. Keep your main with the same poly, **drop 2-3 lbs**,
2. Put in a soft, **plain** synthetic (without any stiff ribbon wrappings)

You'll be surprised how much more comfortable it can be, yet give you more or less the same amount of spin.

You may have tried with a stiffer syn like Prince Syn with Duraflex etc the first time around, and/or without lowering the tension.
