*Help please! RDS 002 Tour UL vs. RDX 500 MP

Hello everyone,

I've been using RDS 002 Tour SL for the past months, but i just can't get used it. It is too powerful for me and I find it difficult to handle its weight (approx 340 grams strung, I believe). However, I have used the RDX 500 MP in the past and it really suits my game! I was just wondering if the UL version of the RDS 002 Tour played similar to the RDX 500 Midplus (98 sq in). I definitely feel that I need a lighter racquet, and maybe the Ultra-light version could work. Unfortunately, I don't live in North America and I can't demo the racquets before choosing them.

How does the RDS 002 Tour UL compare to the RDX 500 Midplus? Are they similar racquets?? And just another thing... I believe the 002 Tour UL is slightly lighter, right?? If they are too different.. which racquets are similar to the RDX 500 MP??

I've read the UL version is 11.6oz and the SL version is 12.25oz, and the swingweight on the UL is 321 compared to 325 on the SL.

You should, also, consider the RDS 002 (Non-Tour). Maybe (maybe not), with a little lead tape.

Did you consider the RDS001MP? Or just sticking with the RDX500mp?

I was really amazed to see how different the 002 Tour SL and the RDX 500 MP were. Definitely looking for a racquet similar to the RDX 500 MP, suits my game much better. Just wanted to know how the UL version of the RDS 002 Tour and the RDX compared.. I wouldn't mind a lighter racquet, that's why I'm considering the 002 Tour UL.

Try the rds 002 tour ul, i have been using it for about 4 months now + it is a great racquet.I used the rds 001 mp for almost a year+ really liked it but it was a little harsh on the arm.

I then went to the rds 002 tour sl + i knew this was a special racquet but i agree it has to much power+ it starts to get heavy after a set or so.So i then went to the ul version + i am loving this stick.Much better control than the sl+ much easier to whip around for 3 sets.

I only demoed the rdx so i cant compare that racquet very well, but i have used all the rds series racquets+ for my game the 002 tour ul is unmatched.It is the best racquet i have ever used.
