Need help guys, Im not getting any younger and I think it's time that I switch to a racket with a bigger headsize with a little more forgiveness. I got an all court game and most of my rackets has a headsize of 90sq.in or lower(PS 85, PS Tour 90, KPro 88, K90, Blx ProStaff 90, Vcore 89).

Now a friend of mine is offering me a Blx ProStaff 95 at a very cheap price, but then again there is this sweet new racket the Blade 93.

If you are in my position what would you get?

Thanks in advance for the comments... :)

Go with the 95 since the price is so good; you can always sell it if you don't like it. But consider other tweeners as well, eg Bab PD, Tecnifiber 320, Biomimetic 500 Tour, Head Extreme Pro version 2.0, etc

Looks like you're used to the boxed beam, BLX Pro Staff 95 :)

Demo it!

That's a nice idea, but I think the PD is too much for me this time it's 100 sq.in. and I know it got a lot of power but control is still my best weapon. Thank you...

Demo these and let us know what you think:

1. Volkl O10 Mid 93"
2. Wilson BLX ProStaff 95"
3. Wilson Blade 93"

I have demo-ed the PS 95 a couple of times and it is a nice racket but it needs head weight. I doubt you are going to like it compared to the higher swingweights you have played in the past unless you add lead tape to the head. Stock SW 306 is not going to have the plow and power you are used to.

I plan to demo the Volkl O10 Mid 93" and have the O10 98" customized to 335 swingweight. I played Wilson before volkl. I think you will like the volkl very much. Stock SW around 320 will be closer to what you are used to but you may want to add a couple of grams.

I demo-ed the previous blade 93" and like it too. SW 330'ish should have the plow and power you are used to.

Volkl O10 line is close enough to Wilson you may like it. But, it isn't a box beam so it crisper than box beam wilson's.

The blade 93 is still not available here in the Philippines... so demoing it is out of the question for now...

Thanks TennisCJC and chrisberchris
