Help with grip size

So here is the story...
I have 2 APDC in grip size 4 1/4 with 1 replacemnt grip on each and 1 wilson pro over grip on each frame.
My friend is selling his APDC for cheap but its grip size is4 3/8.
So what I was thinking off is if I take off the replacemnt grip of the 4 3/8 and put on 2 or 3 wilson pro overgrips will it be the same or very close to 4 1/4 with 1 replacemnt grip and 1 wilson over grip.

Ps. (dont tell me to get it shaved down or to buy a new frame with 4 1/4.)

the 3/8 will still be bigger. it really depends on how comfortable you would be using a 3/8. if you feel comfortable enough with it, then go for it.

going with just overgrips on the 3/8 will also change the balance of the racquet so that's something you might want to consider as well.
