Henin-Hardenne lost in straight sets to Meghann Shaughnessy. She had a first round bye, but then came out and lost 7-5, 6-4. I like her game a lot, but I think she deserved this loss after her shameful behavior at Australia. I hear Mauresmo is still furious about that (not in public, of course though).

Perhaps Henin is still not over that ridiculous choke to Dementieva back at the PLO. Any thoughts on this?

i think that loss to elena was worse than people think. elena just plain wore jhh out in the wind, and may have injured her. elena has beaten all the top players. maria should thank her. funny thing is the same thing could happen all over again in the nasdaq. #1 seed clisjters could see elena in the quarters before seeing maria in the semis. jhh didnt give it away, elena took it. just ask ivanovic.

I'm glad she lost. Her behavior has turned me off as a fan since the Aus Open.
