Henman's Slazenger Type II NX One

He has never used a slazenger...he uses a Wilson Pro Staff Classic 6.1 without the PWS like Mardy Fish does.

I didn't clearly see any henman racquets with the PWS after a google images search. I would speculate that Vantage (also a British racquet manufacturer) is making Henman's racquets based on head size, string pattern, and composition (minus kevlar).

You wont see the PWS becuase it is the Pro staff classic mold with the PWS removed just like Mardy fishes racquets and many others on the tour. Vantage do not make his racquets and his racquet has always been a wilson. Rusedski also uses the same stick.....it is an open mold so all dunlop/slazenger need to do is remove the PWS and keep the same graphite kevlar composition.

Not sure who makes it but it is basically the Pro Staff 6.1 mould without the PWS bumps. A former poster that brought Donnay frames back into the US ~6 years ago actually had one of Rusedski's Donnay Rusedski Pro models he got at the Washington DC tournament. It had a Wilson butt cap with the "W" scratched out and was surprisingly light with a low SW, I'd say ~310-315. He also had an odd grip size, I believe 4 7/16 or something like that.

I am sure he/she read the thread, they just didn't take your word as absolute authority on the topic. The original poster asked for specs on the Slaz NX One, so maybe you didn't read that before you posted ;)

yeah i wanted to know which racquet henman uses. that said, now im interested in knowing how the Type II NX 1 plays. 100% Graphite, 27", 97 sq in, 305g unstrung, even balance, 16x18 pattern = $120

has anyone on these boards actually tried it?

I bought mine for 90 euros on a local reseller.

Is a control oriented racquet dosen't have much power, but is really accurate.

Is great on volleys (probably the best point on the racquet).

Is forgiven on off center hits.

I guess it is simillar to the Dunlop M-Fil 200 but with a bigger headsize.
