1. That was Novak's strongest showing at AO, so lol.

2. That should have ended in 4; Novak hit a couple of silly errors to donate the tie break. Nadal was lucky to get to a 5th.

3. Novak actually lost the final.

4. Djokovic hits that SAME return often; even did it in the third set to bring up break point. Federer had no excuse to choke the second MP.

5. 40-15 at Wimbledon; again Federer's fault to not close out MP #2.

6. You might have a case but then again Thiem doesn't understand court dimensions.

At the end of the day, he beat them fair and square. It's not like any of the opponents got robbed due to a bad line call or umpiring.

I can't tell if you're trolling and making up ones he "Should've" lost to make the point that hes the best, but if you're being serious, most of these should be taken off. Examples:
1) Tsonga because he like Berry gets hot, goes up, then comes back down to earth.
2) Nadal because he was up a break and/or serving for the match in 4th set. If Nadal won, we would've said the opposite.
6) AO final off because he had an extra day of rest while Thiem had the tougher road, and he only went down when he started feeling bad and playing poorly. If Novak lost, we would've said he should've won given the circumstances. I can understand keeping this one, too.
7) Djokovic came out lethargic and was serving for the 1st set. He went away in the 2nd set. He started playing more normally in the last 3 and thats why he cruised vs Stefi. I don't think Stefi choked. He should've never won the 1st set. Had he not, it's probably done in 3 or 4.
8) Matteo was down set points 2-5 and then down 3-5 with Novak serving. Novak was feeling charitable and choked once again serving for the set (normal nowadays). You can't say Novak "should've lost the match" given those circumstances and only being down 1 set in a best of 5.
