Great video, curious what CIF stands for and if these guys have gotten recruited for D1.
Nice vids! Miss my years coaching in California!
BTW for OLDfed: CIF stands for California Interschoolastic Federation. There are different sections in California and that is their "State" playoff program for both team and individuals.
Nice vid! Dude in white hat is really good, probably the ROS is the only thing that's not as strong as his other skills.
They are not seniors but TJ Pura (babolat, white hat) is a blue chip and a junior) Last year he beat Dennis Nguyen(i think) at CIF semis. Then lost to Gage Brymer
1:26. Nice video.
Did that asian guy get injured at 8:09? his level of play looks like it dropped alot after that point
Those guys were playing some awesome tennis. After 8:09, points started to look one-sided though.
Thanks for sharing
Gagw brymer semi
Drew dawson amd ryo shimizu doubles.final
Nice videos. Thanks for posting.
thanks for the first video! I love watching TJ play but some reason i can only watch that vid from here...
Wow. Some really nice hitting. Enjoyed the vid. Thanks for posting.
so what's their level? 6.0?
Those guys are very good...
I'd say 5.0.
naaaa... this is 5.0?? come on.
Perhaps I underestimated.
But I don't believe they're 6.0 just yet..
If this is an official match, then 5.5.
Both guys missed more than a few easy balls, especially after defending well and getting a look at finishing the point.
I posted this a long time ago lolz
Anyways TJ Pura (white guy) is a blue chip, 17 years old now. So yeah 5.5 makes sense. Gage is also a blue chip. Ryo is a 3 star, and his partner Drew Dawson is a 5 star.
Lots of UEs at the start, but did improve deeper in.
Neither up to the guy in the white shirt in GTR's thread imo.
White guy shirt is basically a pro imo
darned close, yes.
