Who wins and versions can be included too as well as the difference in court speeds in certain additions (you might say Fed wins on faster court and Djoko on a slower one)

Who cares about peak to peak? Djokovic beat Federer and 20,000 of his fans singlehandedly. #onemanshow #noassistancerequired

Federer is not my main guy so IDC that he lost and it was quality tennis from both which is what matters to me when these two play :)

even if Fed is at a marginally higher level he’s not beating Djokovic 2011 or Nadal 2010, simply because he’s not the same big game player.

11/16 slams won during peak years says otherwise. Most prolific player ever. Most slams won while peak. The other two vultures not on same level bud.

Fed by some margin. I'd be curious to hear about any opposing arguments since even the H2H which so many cling to tends to favor Fed slightly.
I voted for Fed BUT we have to remember that 2007 Djokovic caused Fed significant problems in 2007. He really could have won first two sets.
Fed easily could have won 2011 against best version of Djokovic...He wins one of those service points and this conversation becomes a joke!
The problem will always be that peak Fed never faced peak Nole...

CYGS likes this. Most objective poster I've ever seen. Boy, he/she is really something else!!

Federer was higher, his attacking style was amazing, but courts were faster by then (2004-2007).
That helped him a little.

How'd a "one dimensional player" ever manage to reach the #1 ranking? Never mind that Roddick beat Nadal three times on HC.
2003 was a comparatively weak era that allowed guys like Hewitt and Roddick to take the big titles. I wonder how they’d do with prime Federer/Nadal or Djokovic in the mix?

And young Murray beat prime Federer almost every time in the masters. How’d they fare in slams?

You can look at Nadals results against Roddick at 500s like Dubai or one of Nadal’s worst masters —Miami— to build your argument but it won’t be very credible.

Oh I know you don't care if he loses. You just enjoy the show when you create threads like this. Lol.
Looking at the comments while rewatching the RG 05 final. Thread could get more heated in the next couple day would not say i am enjoying the show yet :)
