Doko's racket smash in the US open final. Beautiful elevation, strong downforce, he really let the emotion out. We need move of this in tennis. No characters anymore. MORE RACKET ABUSE PLEASE!!

Agree-disagree

**** this role model crap-it shows passion and desire to win!! SMASH IT BOYS!! Girls too!!

I'm trying to post here only for games but had to post

YES! HELL YES!

Should totally be legal, it ****ing helps. It just does. 3rd set tiebreak the other day, went down 0-2, went mental on my racquet (I'm amazed I didn't break it, I broke the 1st one like it really easily), smashing it first against the fence then repeatedly against the ground. Won 6 consecutive points and the match 0-6 6-3 7-6 (5)

I agree, beating the crap out of a racquet just feels good. The pros should try it more often, there's not really anyone that comes to mind other than Djoko and Gonzo.

I believe this art form is in need of a resurgence!

I can't remember who it was for the life of me over this past year but there was a player who lost the match, then proceeded to take out all 6 sticks individually and break each one. Not the most violent display of smashing but one for the books for sure.

I'm sure I'll wake up at 3am with the name in mind...

They should be allowed to burn racquects a la Jimi Hendrix.

Without Hendrix charisma and Mitch Mitchell's drumming the result could be somewhat crappy, but even so.

A wall of Marshall amps behing the lines would be cool too.

Thank you OP! It's about time someone realized that "gen-teel" tennis is boring tennis. Who wants to see perfectly composed specimens of tranquility? Not I!
