The last slams won by Sampras and Agassi came after the last one won by Hewitt. Probably nobody would have expected that back in 2002.

Safin's last title was the AO in 2005.

Coria and Ferrer were born only 3 months apart.

Ferrero, Safin, Coria, Nalbandian, Roddick, Hewitt and Malisse all made a slam semifinal before Federer did.

Now I want to know who are all the other ATP players who have an account here, 99.9% must be on incognito mode with hilarious usernames.

Sampras and Becker met 5 times in the WTF Round Robin, and ALWAYS the LOSER went on to win the title. Also both share 8 WTF titles, with NONE of them being undefeated.

1991 RR Becker d. Sampras 64 67 61
1991 Final Sampras d. Courier 36 76 63 64 (despite the win over Sampras Becker didn't reach the SF)

1992 RR Sampras d. Becker 76 76
1992 Final Becker d. Courier 64 63 75 (Sampras lost in SF to Courier 67 67)

1994 RR Becker d. Sampras 75 75
1994 Final Sampras d. Becker 46 63 75 64

1995 RR Sampras d. Becker 62 76
1995 Final Becker d. Chang 76 60 76 (Sampras lost in SF to Chang 46 46)

1996 RR Becker d. Sampras 76 76
1996 Final Sampras d. Becker 36 76 76 67 64

I saw Agassi obviously tank so many matches over his career, he probably had a date that night.

Yes that match, against his buddy, was one of the most blatant tanks of Agassi’s career, and there were plenty of those. He picked the same spots in the net to hit his serve and shots into, time after time.

Sampras also flat out tanked a few matches at smaller tournaments during his career, one of the most blatant examples coming against Paes at New Haven in 1998. He pocketed the appearance fee and then happily got out of there.

Brad Gilbert was higher ranked (30) than Andre Agassi (31) at the time of 1994 Key Biscayne, when Gilbert started coaching Agassi.
Hilarious LOL.

Lowkey reminds me of when Djokovic said he’d like to coach Kyrgios.

He’ll be coaching Nick whilst he had a higher ranking lol.

Owen Davidson was the very first person to win a match in the open era of tennis.

Many won't be familiar with the name, but he actually has more grand slam titles than players like Becker, Wilander, Connors, Lendl or Borg.

He also completed the CYGS.

Owen Davidson was the opponent of Roy Emerson in the quarter finals of 1966 Wimbledon. Emerson had won Wimbledon the previous two years, was beating Davidson pretty badly for a set and a bit, and then Emerson ran into the umpire's chair and dislocated his shoulder. Emerson was unable to pop his shoulder back into place, and rules at the time forbade him seeing a trainer. Davidson came back to win 1-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4. Davidson then lost to eventual champion, Manuel Santana.

The fact that Myskina only made it past the quarter-final stage once in 29 attempts, in tourmaments at Tier II level or above on clay that she entered during her career, but that one time was her 2004 RG title run.

Roberto Carretero winning more super 9 / masters series titles on clay, than the likes of Kafelnikov, Gaudio, Ferrer, Thiem, Safin, Soderling and Berasategui combined. More than 25% of Carretero's tour level victories (23 in total) came during his 1996 Hamburg title run, and he only won another 7 tour level matches after that.

The fact that 23 out of the 27 games contested during the 2013 Cincy SF between Azarenka and Jankovic were breaks of serve. Yes of course numerous breaks are expected in women's tennis, especially between 2 players whose serves were not exactly their main strengths. But still that many in the SF of a big tournament on hard courts...

Kuerten entering the Australian Open 8 times, never reaching the 4th round, only once reaching the 3rd round and losing more matches than he won there (7 wins and 8 losses). His disastrous record in Melbourne relative to his ability on hard courts, was largely attributable to the fact that he liked to party and unwind during the off-season, and wasn't exactly in a rush to return to any serious form of training.
