I've seen it mentioned several times that running hills is a good way to work on speed. At the same incline, would you consider a bigger hill or a smaller hill better?

I ask because the back of my property has a pretty decent hill on it. It's a pain in the neck to mow, but I'm thinking it might be good for sprinting up/down.

I had posted a nice reply with helpful links then as I submitted it to be posted the site crashed.

Try a google search for, walter peyton hill workouts, jerry rice hill workouts. You'll find some helpful trainning info there.

Yes, hill workouts are great for strength and power. Mixing long and short hill repeats with different rest intervals will benefit you.
