Hingis stick?

Here are a couple of pictures of Martina Hingis's rackets taken in June 2014:

Her string setup was:

Mains - Yonex Poly Tour Pro 17 @ 26.0 KGS
Crosses - Babolat VS Team 15 @ 25.0 KGS (No prestretch)

Hope this can be of help,

Pro Stringing,

That grip doesn't look stock. Is that leather? And is there any indication that this wasn't a stock AI 100?

Nice she does NOT use that Babolat BT7 garbage! Hingis uses the real Babolat VS Gut!!!

Is there a difference in packaging between Babolat vs gut and the BT7 stuff ? I tell my stringers to use the VS gut, how do you distinguish the two variables?
That's all Babolat makes now is BT7. When BT7 first came out it was on the packaging a couple of years ago. I think Babolat took BT7 off the packaging now.

Looks like stock AI 100 to me but with leather grip + OG?

Thanks for that info, I will ask the stringers for a different gut then... from what I see this bt7 stuff is supposed to work better in hybrids but sacrifices so much... I did notice the older stuff had more "feel" at first I though it was change of racquets, stiffness e.t.c.. Maybe Wilson or Prince is calling, or buy old reels. Hingis looks like she is covered !

Hingis seemed to change frames quite happily. Remember a few years back (she was already retired I think) and she appeared with that white and blue offering Yonex put out? She was asked about it and said something along the lines of "as soon I saw it, I had to have it". Doesn't sound like a paintjobber to me....

That package of Babolat Gut there is from 2002 or before! How did it not get used until 2014 when that pic was taken?!
