History of Wilson Six One 95

Let's start off 2009 with a history lesson...
who can fill in the blanks..

I am only curious about Six-One 95 that was offered in a 16x18 pattern

1) Wilson ProStaff Classic (was this the first "Six-One"
2) Hyper Hammer was that next?
3) nCode
4) gay K-Factor?

bonus points if you can provide pictures of the "evolution."

There was the
PS 6.0 95
Pro Staff Tour 95
Hyper Prostaff 6.1 95
nCode 6.1 95
k 6.1 95

BTW, a search would have really helped out on this one.

Kfactor is not gay, you're just calling it gay because you can't handle it or it doesn't SUIT you. If you hate it so much, why don't you just call it the GAY-FACTOR

History of the Wilson 6.1

This is my best guess:

1) ProStaff 6.0 95
2) ProStaff Classic 6.1 95
3) ProStaff Tour 6.1 95
4) Hyper ProStaff 6.1 95
5) nSix.One 95
6) kSix-One 95

I think a previous reply forgot to put the "Classic" in the mix.
Did I put these in the right order?

Thanks.

i am tired of people saying that kfactor is lame. why do u have to even say it? great players can use any racqeut but use a racquet they like. so get some skills and then talk

The only racquet that I wouldn't include in this list is the ProStaff Tour 95 - that one is more of a lighter, larger, tweener counterpart to the Tour 90. It actually has a swing index (si) of 6.0 instead of 6.1, but it's layout is a lot like my 6.1 Classics, including the PWS. I'm pretty sure that the Hyper ProStaff came out right after the 6.1 Classic, and then the Tour 90/Tour 95 came next as a sort of subset in the "Hypercarbon" generation. Then the nCodes and k factors.

As Wilson got more into the world of graphite racquets, they made something after the 6.0 85 that had the PWS (perimeter weighting system) and a layout with a wider beam that was rather similar to the 6.1 Classic - someone here certainly knows what it was. This racquet is the missing link between the original 6.0 85 and the 6.1 Classic.

all based on preference imo.
I played with one. Dunno if something was up with it but it had extreme vibrations.
