My 10th day skiing ever, first day more advanced than Siberia (and I failed there mightily), was the nose of KT directly under the chair. Narrow, very exposed (heck the chair was maybe 20' above my head), and no place to hide. Rode down to Headwall and tried SunBowl....much more my level. Up Cornice to HorseTrails...where is everyone? Up KT for a hairy Saddle, as the top drops off the cattrack, and I didn't know it was supposed to be easy.
Same day, I got introduced to Chute75 from 35' W of the top, and E bowl into the top of Exhibition. I got inagaurated that day, mostly as second in a patrol of 8.
We jumped off the deck between Headwall and Cornice, and I failed really miserably at Olylady. Just too much to assimilate in one day....or week.
BTW, I was in Fajardo PuertoRico the day the FBI guy drowned. Found a new spot which the locals (of Luhillo, 9 miles away) didn't know about or heard of, just W of 7 Seas, before the Governor's beach house, a big thick left into an open deep channel, nice medium sized cove, steep sandy beach, and the day I saw it big, about 8' lefts with lineup markers (rocks inside and to the side), and deep enough to hold a 15' swell, if it ever got that big in the Atlantic.
