The FO wasn't worth anything before Borg started making a name for himself there! Most top players skipped the event; too grueling w/ such a slow court! Vilas would have won more than 1, but Borg was his MASTER! The Americans that did go there were embarrassed by him again and again; the Bagel Twins (Eddie Dibbs & Harold Solomon), & Vitas Gerulaitis! They were all his pigeons!

Borg literally played with a wooden stick and accomplished so much including the "Channel Slam" 3 times w/ less time to prepare!
