Hologram Sticker

I just bought a racquet from somebody on these boards, a Prince Tour Diablo. I just noticed that the hologram sticker on it isn't hologramed. In fact, it looks more like a bad photocopy. Is it a fake? The person I bought it from has good feedback, so I'm hesitant to call him out on it. Also, the seriel number on this racquet is eight numbers, where the one on my other Tour Diablo is seven. Does anyone know what's going on here?

Edit: I just took another look at the racquet, and the grip size (3) on the buttcap is indented in a little circle as oppose to my other Diablo, which is not indented.

Dont be quick to jump to conclusions. Does it weigh and feel the same. Does it seem to have the same balance as the other one? Racquets manufacturers change everything on their racquets so often that its hard to keep up with them, like the black/grey painting on the throat of the ncodes where the spec is printed - some are in black, some are in grey. The SP code on the yonexes also comes to mind, its the south pacific area racquet that has a different hologram but not fake.

See, I'm hesitant to definitely call it a fake because the guy has a good reputation, he dropped it off to my house, and he hits with the top instructor at my local club, somebody I've known for a while. If it is a fake, I don't think that it was intentional, just something that maybe he didn't catch. At least I hope.

it could still be fake, maybe he didnt know it was a fake...then again, maybe its not a fake...call prince and ask them about it...

Tarheels, please make sure to let us know what you uncovered. Whatever Prince tells you could be very helpful to others that may be interested in purchasing Prince racquets in the future, especially the Tour Diablo.

Well, I called Prince and talked to two different people. Apparently, neither of them had the ability to check seriel numbers. Does anyone know how I can get connected with somebody who actually knows what they're doing and can be helpful?

Edit: I talked to the guy I bought the racquet from. He said it was bought directly from a Prince rep, who he knows. So, at this point I'm going to say that it's not fake, just a different production run or something. However, I'd still like to know if anyone can help me find a Prince spokesperson who can verify the seriel number or lack of hologram.
