Holy crap I love western forehands!

A while ago I totally lost my forehand. I had no consistensy whatsoever. Recently I switched to a full western forehand and wow! With this grip, I naturally produce a fluid and near perfect motion. So much topspin and power! Anyone else have success with this grip? I can't imagine using anything else.

drive with the buttcap. let your wrist naturally pronate. make sure u hit the ball out in front of you.

splink...same here! its a very fun shot to hit. i focus on staying low and then exploding up into the shot.

At first when you dont know how to use the stroke your wrist hurts after hitting... keep it up... pretty soon ull be soo madly in love with your grip youll wanna marry it.

Early preparation, hitting the ball late with a full western is very difficult.

make sure you use your trunk and legs to propell yourself. dont just use your whole arm.

i recently came back from an injury (which is basicaly like learning the game all over again) and im diong great with a full western right now rather than my old grip (semi-western).
