I was curious to see how much Lacoste clothing costs, but HOT DAMN I didn't realize it was so ridiculously expensive.

The Andy Roddick "trucker hat" is 55 bucks!

And just plain old polos are 55 bucks *on sale*

The tennis wear starts at around double that...

I think I'll stick with the clearance athletic wear at discount stores, thanks...lol

i wear lacoste XD but not athletic clothing i have about 21 lacoste polos, 3 lacoste shoes, 3 track jackets and 1 sweat pants XD

i love lacoste just sucks that each polo is 80 bucks

my dad has the colonge but its pretty sick lol im trying to try the lacoste tennis shoes lol but its too expensive for shoes you will wear and tear on the daily lol

Lacoste needs A-Rod to man up their image.

Although the way A-Rod wears those too-large XL shirt and kept adjusting the shirt between points and using it to wipe the sweat of his face... not sure it helps their image.

His face-wiping is like clockwork.

You're almost guaranteed a shot of his abdomen in every match.

Some of their graphic T-shirts also run at the 50+ dollar range... which is just messed up IMO.
 
I agree with Roddick being a bit of a strange choice.

Lacoste has a very European feel to it, the brash American who wears his clothes 2 sizes too big doesn't look right to me.
 
Well, there's no better way to sell to Americans than using the big, brash all-American player.

Plus they probably couldn't afford Federer, lol.
 
i dont know why their clothes are so expensive.
i dont even like the cotton they use. it feels like it would rip apart if i dry it 3-5 times.
 
If you saw roddick at the Legg Mason his getup looked real sweet and it can be yours for the ultra low price price of 245 US dollars. Of course that does not include underwear, socks and shoes.

95 for the polo
85 for the shorts
55 for the hat

But lacoste is nice enough to make them in 3x

If you go to their online site, you can sometimes find some pretty good deals. I got a baseball cap there with a tennis logo for $19.99. I get compliments on it every time I wear it and people always ask where I got it. They must have sold out of them because I was going to buy another one in a different color but they're gone now.
 
Lacoste polos are extremely high quality. I have two polos that I've owned for 3 years (each), and continue to wear them to this day. The fabric never loses its color, never tears, and is VERY light and comfortable during hot days. You'll spend just as much money (if not more) over the years buying cheap shirts that fall apart after several months. By buying Lacoste clothes, you're pretty much making an investment. Sure its expensive, but the product will last a long time.

Polo Ralph Lauren is great as well, although I prefer the feel of Lacoste.

actually lacoste is cheap on e bay. around 20ish for a shirt etc...

the french that wear it tight and multi rainbow color is the image they want
 
Yes, Lacoste is very pricy but you do get what you pay for. Their polos are very high quality. However, I was shocked the first time I browsed online at their prices. Check **** sometimes you can get deals on new merchandise if you know what to look for.
 
I used to think Lacoste was an 'exclusive' brand, only few people had enough money to consistently wear it, but I was proved wrong when I went to Milano, Lacoste is not exclusive at all there. Everybody wears lacoste and if they are not wearing lacoste they are wearing better, more exclusive fashion clothing like Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. Another thing about Lacoste in Milano, usually the Lacoste boutique would be in the main street of a city, I believe its in the main shopping street of New York? But here it is down a side alley with hardly anyone going past it, I was suprised.
