The Williams sisters, according to pundits and the sisters themselves, are
"getting tennis out of the country club and bringing the sport to a new, more street, less affluent audience. They show that you don't need to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth to succeed in tennis". Yet, here they are endorsing a racquet that can only be purchased by someone with considerably more money than sense. That a donation is made to breast cancer research is incredibly condescending. If Wilson, or the endorsees, cared at all they should just donate a lump sum instead of turning a worthy cause into a marketing tool (same goes for any of the other manufacturers).
