Holy grail at goodwill !

Whoa !!! What in the hell is this !!!
I just came upon this racket the other day at goodwill here in Texas and I have never even heard of it or seen anything like this before in my life ! The manufacturer is called
Golden Team . Never heard of it . The make - Premium 610 . Again never heard of it .
The reason it caught my eye from afar I thought it was a Fischer vacuum 90. As I saw the purple blended it towards a darker blue or black . But once I came on it closer . Nope . And damn !!
Oh well. I picked it up and thought what is this ?’
I know racquets man. A lot . Seen em all , so I thought . Once I started to inspect further i realised this thing is extremely head light ! Perfect !
Then I realised the head size it’s maybe a 88 to 93 midsize . Perfect !
16x18 pattern . Perfect ! Any cracks ? Nope !

Then I thought let’s bend this over my knee and give it a bend flex test. Whoa ... bendy .. real bendy ! Ahhh maaa gawd.... then I had rdc checked ..
Now real quick for those that don’t know me I like really really flexible frames so I have to go thru a lot of trouble to get my rackets down to a certain flex.. this baby came it at 28RA! Couldn’t believe it! 28! I’m hoping it’s graphite . It feels like like a mix of maybe fibreglass . I just hope it’s not aluminium . But if it is so be it. Cause it hits an awesome fun ball. I hit one forehand with it and it felt like , I’m switching to this thing !

Only on tt does Holy Grail=

Awww man I hope not
If I could just find 10 more I’d be done for life. Feels like it’s 100% Fiberglas or wood. I hope it’s not alloy , but if it is I’ve never seen an aluminum have a “real “racket shape ... this one totally does it looks European too- which I love ❤️

Shroud ! You know I went crazy when I saw that ra reading . I peed in my pants a just a little .. but I’m gonna post another thread on it seperate to see if anyone has ever even heard of this company let alone tennis rackets :

I See the Name Golden Team on the bay over here in Germany periodically... Just searched and there's one on there now. The model is Champion, looks like a Yonex-y headshape and boasts that it's "Designed in the U.S."

Do a kicksstarter to make a noodle racquet made out of cardboard. Pocket the $75 you get... i thought i was nuts. At least we will always have kevlar...

Golden Team ???? Like GT Sports of the '80s, maybe? SMU from one of the gazillion off-shore manufacturers back then?

A quick search shows that your racket was an inexpensive "pre-strung" racket marketed around 1992 and sold to weekend players through department stores. Definitely not a racket for serious players. There are eight Golden Team rackets for sale now on the auction site. Here's a nice picture of one of them:

Yes ! Coach rick to the rescue ! Mine is a golden team . GT. looks like a Fischer wannabe vacuum pro . This thing is the most flexible racket I’ve ever hit with . Even more so than my donnay wood flex pro . Despite the RA being 28. It feels even more flexible than that.it says graphite on the racket but feels more like .. hmfff. Dunno . Never felt a racket like this before . Maybe an alloy. I’m thinking . But can there be graphite mixed with aluminium ? Or fibreglass ?
I think I see a small warping effect happening . Can fibreglass warp ? I know some older head prestige’s of mine warped .. I’m sure sooner or later she will crack . The only extremely flexible racket I know that can stand up to the abuse that I put on rackets is the head graphite pro molds . The graphite is not the flexible one but the lower tiered models of that line are . Club , team , special edition , magnum etc... Them there are some sweet bendies, more so and way way more durable than the rossi’s..
and they can be played after sanded down to pre preg and grommet less too. Never seen anything like it . Head made them to last man . Thick thick thick walls. As long as there strung loose they will last me a lifetime .
But I digress . Yes coach rick the model I got is called simply”golden team premium 610 graphite . I’ll get more pics now!

She really is a pretty thing . Reminds me a lot of the vacuum pro Fischer so I had to draw a stencil in her . Not bad ! Fisher for me is always tricky to do by hand . I can do prince Fila ,Wilson , rossignol , isospeed , ASICS, head Babolat , now , Fischer but of course my faves I can’t do at all unless I have a perfect proper stencil . Like - puma , Lacoste , eatusa , puma, don’t like Dunlop but no way I could do it by hand :(

Good Times is just one of THE classic rock tracks, Jimmy Barnes' gravelly voice together with the Hutch's angelic wailing! Beautiful!!
