Sign your racquet here if you have found your holy grails!

(I just want to see how many people have actually found the racquet that's perfect for them)

Of course, I've found mine!!!!!

POG OS!!!!

Well, for now I have... AA Radical Ltd. Edition (very similar to your POS OS - When Donnay/Head made the racquets for Andre, they were very similar to his original racquet the POG OS)

Yonex RD-7. I just wished the sw were a little bit less.
Shave the bumper a little, it'll help a lot. But remember, a little goes a long way, and you don't want to take off too much.

Oh, right, my holy grail is the Yonex RDS 001 Mid.

The M-Fil 200, despite the fact that it's a little too heavy for me. I'm lifting like crazy just so I can keep swinging this formidable weapon...

RDS001MP - enough power, very maneuverable, stable, good feel - it does it all and it does it all well.

Microgel Extreme Pro - Babolat power and spin with much more feel and control. What more could you want?

Well, I'm not sure about my Holy Grail, but I agree that this is one sweet racquet. What a feeling on contact! :-D

fujitsu77,
it's babolat leather grips. wished balmforth would still be making those fairway grips - the closest thing to heaven. i can't get any other grips around here than babolat, but they are not so bad.

You know you're a closet Volkl lover and use them when no one's watching. :)

Mine used to be the POG OS back in the day. I think if I started playing tennis with the POG Mid I would still be using it today.

I've been using a Volkl Tour 8 for the last five years or so and don't plan on switching anytime soon. Heck, I don't have the time or energy to switch at the moment.

LOL. Actually, I want to add one to my racquet collection. However, can't decide which is the most "classic" volkl. Such as the POG mid/os, Ps85, Prestige Classic, etc.

Any recommendations???

Both great racquets. I still have my POG OS from the 80's (no bumper guard), and own a few POG mids. I've been hitting with the POG Mid every once in a while when I am just bashing from the baseline. About a month ago I used it during a 5.0 round robin tourney. Played really well with it, and actually won a few of the rounds. :)

Funny how we look in photos: :)

If you're actually serious (LOL), I would say the only one to get would be the C10 Pro. It's pretty much in the same mold as the PS 6.0 and POG Mid except its 98 sq. in. It really is a great racquet and has that buttery feel like the 6.0 and POG Mid. I've hit with it a few times and if you like the POG and/or 6.0 85, which I know you do, you'd love the C10 as well.

Keep me updated. I'd love to see a Volkl in your hands. Who knows, you might actually like em'.:smile: If I knew how to photoshop I would have put one in your hands a long time ago.
