Here's a weird story. I demoed and fell in love with the RDX 300. My raquet stringer told me there was a significant crack in it, but I liked the way it hit so much that I bought one anyway - thinking I'd deal with the problem frame issue later. The problem was, the crack affected the play, and when I got the new 300, I couldn't keep a ball in the court to save my life. I've tried to play with it several times and just put it back in the back with no success. The combination of power, pinpoint control, and excellent tough was wonderful, but the latter 2 I only had with the cracked frame. So it seems to be keeping the more headlight feel of the 500 while adding more power (somewhere between the 300 and 500) would be perfect for my game. If they did it right, it could just be the killer tweener raquet.
