i really curious how nadal would do the 2020 AO
i am so sure he can 't beat djokovic at final
court is faster and bounce is slow
and i think he can 't beat fed in sf or f
fed is so good at low boucing surface

only nadal 's chance is fed and djoker both get rid before the semi
and nadal 's chance is pretty high
unless he get first round at del potro

If he goes into it with proper preparation unlike the previous 2 years he'll go deep and have a decent shot at number 20. In 2017 he was excellent after long preparations after being awful the previous two years.

The chances of Federer reaching SF are quite low honestly. He’ll be an underdog in a Quarter with either Medvedev, Tsitsipas or Zverev. Without him the only real obstacle for Nadal is Djokovic. One thing I know for sure – never ever will other Big3 member beat Djokovic at AO, he’s just too motivated and composed against Nadal and Federer. But he tends to get flat when it comes to younger opponents, oh, and don’t forget Federer’s business partner rules AO, so Wawrinka will 100% be in Djokovic’s draw, you can bet on it.

Awful in 2019? You are being too harsh on your fav. Rafa was playing great up until the final where he underperformed and bumped into a peaking Novak.

Nadal is still a beast. He's doing a much better job against the Big 4 of the younger players(Medvedev, Zverev, Thiem, and Tsitsipas) than Djoker and Federer are. However, I think that Djoker and Federer have the best chance at beating Nadal. I could see Djokovic and especially Federer being taken out by the younger Big 4 to set up Nadal for the win.

I'm still picking Djoker as the favorite. But Djoker has far more obstacles now. I think that this will be Nadal's best opportunity to bag his 2nd Ao title.

I admit that Tsitsipas could be difficult as shown recently and at the Australian Open 2019. But Zverev and Medvedev would be clear underdogs against Federer, if THEY even reach the QF, which is rather unlikely.

Federer never had problems with Medvedev and the Australia surface plus Best of 5 favours him against Zverev.

AO is Rafa's curse, much as FO is a cursed event for RF and Djokovic.

He can't/won't beat them ever again at AO, and the odds that they both lose while he cruises to the finale facing a newbie are very low.

AO is just a bad tournament for Nadal. Every year something bad has to happen. He just can't win it no matter what. Djokovic lost earlier than him in 2014, 2017, 2018 and Nadal never could take advantage of that. (very unlucky in 2014 with the injury as well)

I am predicting he will win and will become the first of the big 3 to win 2 of each Grand Slam :) He has come so close and he needs to avenge his 2017 loss. (If he hadn't been injured I believe he would have won in 2018).
