I don't have the same feeling as on the old forum. Now I feel like a pinkskirt touchscreening a smartphone while walking a busy street.

This was the first day I was active in a match thread and the speed was phenomenal! When Nadal served, I averaged two posts per point. When Dreddie served, I still managed nearly 1 post per point.

I really like it and it's great on my phone too. I think that I'm not getting all notifications on new posts but I can live with that. I had that problem with the old forum from time to time as well.

Two posts per point, and that too posting from a phone!! That's phenomenal especially considering how quickly Brown was dispatching Rafa's serves. I was later watching the Isner - Cilic match and those guys weren't even toweling off between points (as far as i can remember) and this was in the fifth set. That's awfully inconsiderate of them, doesn't give us time to compose a post. And i am on a full keyboard and i can touch-type !

Overall, now that I've used it a while, I think the new forum is a lot better. The conversation tool is good, and the like function is a neat way of acknowledging other people without always having to post a response, so you don't leave others out to dry. The alert system is great, though I wish it would work if you edit an @"someone" after an initial post is made. The "@" feature is excellent and a great way of notifying others that you want them to take notice of something you are communicating.

The functionality of the forum is very good. 8/10.

I just discovered how to see location and sig for any poaster when I'm using my iPhone...turn the phone to horizontal instead of vertical and both are presented...location right below username and poast count; sig right below the poast text. Still can't edit but it is OK.

Awesome tip!

Much better now that I have figured out viewing sigs on my iPhone (turn it horizontally) and changing my sig (tap your username on the blue header at the top).:):)

I would like to be able to collapse forums I don't look at. The previous design had button/arrows on the far right of the forum bar that could be collapsed or opened at will.

Otherwise it's very nice.

Like the old forum better. Everything here is smaller and harder to read. I liked the old "User CP" function to pull up activity in threads that I posted in. Too many posts per page. I liked that threads with new posts were highlighted on the forum page and you could go directly to the most recent post in a thread from the forum page.

I guess I'll like the new one more as I get used to it's functionality. And I like the speed of the new forum.

Are the animated emoticons (like laughing or crying) still available here or do they need importing?
